xMovicol Ease Citrus Flavour is an osmotic laxative. Movicol Ease Citrus Flavour is for the relief of occasional constipation.
Each sachet contains: Macrogol 3350 - 13.125 g, Sodium chloride - 350.7 mg, Sodium hydrogen carbonate - 178.5 mg, Potassium chloride - 46.6 mg.
13.7g powder for oral solution, Effective relief from constipation, This product contains Lemon & Lime flavour, High in sodium.
Dosage: For adults aged 18 years and above, including pregnant and breastfeeding women, the dose is 1-3 sachets per day: Dissolve one sachet in 125ml (1/4 pint) of water, 1-3 times per day. This should be taken in divided doses throughout the day, according to the severity of your constipation. Reconstituted solution: Store covered in a refrigerator (2°C -8°C) for up to 6 hours.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if: you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you are taking any other medicines, your constipation needs treatment for longer than 5 days, you have persistent abdominal pain or are passing blood. Do not take if a doctor says you have a blockage in your gut (intestinal obstruction), a hole in your gut wall, a disease causing severe inflammation of the gut (inflammatory gastrointestinal disorder), or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. Treatment with Movicol Ease Citrus Flavour usually lasts for about 5 days. When regular bowel movements return, use fewer doses per day and usually treatment can be stopped.
