



Mr Fothergills Savoy Vertus cabbage seeds are an extra late variety that produces tasty, firm heads of crinkled leaves. These seeds are ideal for sowing from March to May and require careful cultivation for a December to March harvest. Follow the sowing guidelines for best results.
300 Seeds Extra late, tasty 'Ormskirk' type with firm, dense heads of crinkled leaves. March to May.
In trays of moist compost. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost and firm gently. Keep at approx. 13°C and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-21 days. When large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart in trays of compost. Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions. Transplant to final position with 60cm between plants and rows. Firm in well. Keep moist and weed free. December to March.
Harvest when firm and solid. Rotate Brassica crops yearly.
