



Perfect for roasting, stews, or as a meat substitute, Natoora Italian Round Aubergine is a fresh vegetable with thin purple skins and dense, seedless flesh. It is sourced from sustainable growers in Italy and packed in the UK.
Natoora Italian Round Aubergine is sourced from small-scale, minimal intervention growers in southern Italy in July and August. As the season advances, we transition to Roero, Piedmont, where the cooler northern climate allows us to maintain the highest quality aubergines.
Round aubergines have thin, purple skins and boast a particularly dense, seedless flesh, free from the bitterness often found in intensively-grown varieties.
Take it further: Cut open lengthways, marinade in middle eastern spices, roast and top with yoghurt and honey. Sub in for lamb or other meat in slow cooked stews and curries.
