Experience the rich, smoky flavor and melty texture of this traditional Italian cheese. Natoora's Sanguedolce smoked mozzarella scamorza is perfect for cooking, from grilling to baking.
The Sanguedolce family has crafted cheese in Andria, southern Italy since 1918, and everything they do today still follows the traditions and techniques passed down from their nonno Tommaso.
Now into its fourth generation, the family pours over a century of artisanal knowledge into every step, from choosing topquality milk to handassembling each cheese.
Scamorza is a spun paste cheese with a lovely, melty texture. It undergoes a natural smoking process using certified beech wood chips.
Take it further: Grill slices for a melting cheese topping on bruschetta, dice into stuffed peppers or baked pasta, melt over seasonal vegetables for a rustic side dish.
