Perfect for a family roast, this large chicken is succulent and juicy when roasted in the oven or air fryer. Each chicken provides 4-5 servings based on 125g of cooked meat per portion, so you can dish up a treat alongside traditional vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and gravy for a hearty Sunday dinner. Any leftovers are ideal for sandwiches, salads and stir-fries.
Our Ocado chickens live in barns that have natural daylight with bales and perches so that they can express their natural behaviour.
There may be a slight odour on opening, which will quickly disappear. This is normal and does not affect the quality or flavour of the chicken.

Keep refrigerated 0 to +4°C. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 1 day. Do not exceed the Use By date.
Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Do not refreeze once defrosted and consume within 1 day.
Remove all packaging. Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry. Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods. Do not wash. Cook thoroughly.
Oven: 190ºC / Fan 170ºC / Gas 5. Preheat the oven. Place chicken in a roasting tin in the centre of the oven and cook for 40 mins per kg plus 20 mins basting occasionally. Refer to front of pack for cooking time.
Once cooked, let it rest it for 15-20 minutes before carving. Add the leftover cooking juices to your gravy for a deliciously rich flavour.
