Ocado Tenderstem® Broccoli. Harvested by hand, this Tenderstem® broccoli is a delicious and versatile vegetable that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. With its long thin stems and small tender florets it has a subtly sweet and nutty flavour, with a hint of bitterness that is less pronounced than in regular broccoli. The texture is tender-crisp, with a satisfying crunch and the whole stem is edible, from the florets to the base.
Naturally high in fibre, vitamin C and folic acid, an 80g serving is 1 of your five a day. It is perfect for using in stir-fries, roasting, steaming, or simply blanching and serving with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt. Pairs well with Asian flavours such as soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and chilli.

For best results steam. Remove all packaging. Rinse well.
Steam: 4-6 mins. Place required amount into a steamer basket over boiling water. Steam for 4-6 minutes until tender. Ensure the water does not boil dry.
Boil: 4-6 mins. Place required amount into a saucepan of boiling water. Bring back to the boil and simmer for 4-6 minutes until tender. Drain and serve.
Stir Fry: Medium heat 4-6 mins. Trim ends if required. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan or wok. Add required amount of Tenderstem broccoli and fry over a medium heat for 4-6 minutes stirring frequently. Reduce heat if necessary.
