Storage: Keep refrigerated 0 to +4°C. Once opened, consume within 1 day. Do not exceed the Use By date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before use. Do not refreeze once defrosted and consume within 1 day.
Cooking guidelines: Wash hands, surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry. Keep raw poultry separate from cooked foods. Do not remove the chicken from the bag, cook in the bag. Take care when opening the bag as steam in the bag will be released. The bag will contain hot cooking juices. If cooking in a gas oven, ensure bag is not close to oven flame. Oven: 200ºC / Fan 180ºC / Gas 6, 1hr 35 mins - 1hr 40 mins. Preheat oven. Do not pierce the bag before cooking. Place the chicken in its bag on a baking tray in the centre of the oven. With 30 minutes left to cook, remove from the oven and cut bag along dotted lines. Return to the oven for the remainder of the cook time. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before carving. All appliances vary. These are guidelines only. All chicken products should be cooked thoroughly, until there is no pink meat and the juices run clear. Ensure the product is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat.
