High in fibre and a source of Thiamin (B1) and Potassium, 80g of sweetcorn also counts as 1 of your 5 a day. UK sweetcorn season starts towards the end of July and runs into October. Outside of the UK season, Barfoots follows the sun all year round to provide the sweetest corn on the cob, with the majority coming from Spain and Senegal.
Sweetcorn cobettes are easy to prepare and can be boiled, microwaved, grilled, air fried, or cooked on the BBQ. Simply add a dash of oil or butter, a pinch of salt and pepper for all the family to enjoy.

Cooking guidelines: For best results, boil. Remove all packaging. Boil: 12-14 mins Place in a pan of boiling water, cover and bring back to the boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 12-14 minutes. Drain. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Microwave (900w): 3 mins 30 secs Pierce film, place directly into the microwave, heat on full power for 3 minutes 30 seconds. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before serving. Grill: 23 mins Preheat grill and place the sweetcorn on a wire rack over a grill pan under a medium grill. Cook for 23 minutes, turning occasionally. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
