Although the origin of Lime is not certain, botanists believe this citrus fruit began its life in the jungles of Myanmar (previously Burma) and India, and was first introduced to Europe by early Arab traders. Limes are now cultivated throughout many warm climate countries and grow natively in South America, thanks to successful naturalisation. When expressed or squeezed, the peel of the fruit releases a strong, green citrus essential oil which cleanses the body and energises the mind.
Use in massage treatments as a natural detox agent and in a vaporiser or burner to instantly refresh and revive the spirit. Blends well with Black Pepper, Juniper Berry and Lemon.
Ingredients: Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil
Advisory Information: DANGER: External use only. Flammable liquid and vapour. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. If using in a massage blend, wait 12 hours before exposing skin to strong UV light or sunlight. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
If Swallowed: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting.
If on Skin: Wash with plenty of water.
If in Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If skin irritation develops, stop use. If pregnant or nursing, consult a healthcare professional prior to use.
CONTAINS: Limonene. May produce an allergic reaction.
Directions: MASSAGE: Add 5 drops of essential oil to 10ml of blending oil.
BATH: Add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil to 20ml of blending oil & swirl into water.
VAPORISING: Add 6 to 8 drops of essential oil to a vaporiser or burner.
