Storage: Keep refrigerated. Once opened consume within 2 days. Do not exceed use by date. Cool leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours, consume within 2 days. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost thoroughly before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
Preparation and Usage: With a rich, savoury taste, these chicken legs are versatile and easy to cook. Whether you grill, roast, bake, or fry them, our chicken legs come out moist and tender, making them a favourite of both kids and adults alike. They make a great centrepiece for any family dinner, but also work well as a protein-packed snack or party food.
Cook from chilled. Remove from fridge 20 minutes before cooking. Preheat oven: 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas Mark 5. Place the chicken on a roasting tray, season and cook for 35-40 minutes. To check the chicken is cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part of the portion. If the juices run clear, the chicken is cooked. If they run pink, return to the oven for a further 5 minutes and re-test. Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes.
