Storage: Store Below 4 degrees. Once opened, consume within 2 days. Cool leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours. Consume within 2 days. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within 1 month. Defrost fully before use, do not refreeze once defrosted.
Preparation and Usage: Roast or Air-Fry and serve as a traditional roast for a hearty Sunday lunch or cook with a lemon and herb marinade, serve with salad and new potatoes for a lighter twist. Cook from chilled. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before cooking ensuring all packaging removed. Preheat oven: 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 5. Place the chicken on a roasting tray, season and cook for 20 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 180°C and cook for 30 minutes per kg. To check the chicken is cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part of the thigh, if the juices run clear, the chicken is cooked - remove from the oven and rest for 15 minutes. If they run pink, return to the oven for a further 5 minutes and re-test.
