Pecorino is an ancient grape variety indigenous to Abruzzo, rediscovered in the 1980s and now the region's leading white grape variety.
Grape variety: Pecorino. Current vintage: 2020. Regional information: Grapes grown in the white wine zone of Chieti on hillside slopes about 300 metres above sea level, handpicked in the second week of September.
Tasting notes: Very fresh and zingy with lively citrus acidity, notes of tropical fruits and a certain minerality for lovely balance.

Vinification details: Hand picked in the second week of September, destemmed and pressed, with fermentation taking 12-15 days, then left on the lees for a minimum of 120 days.
