History: The history of wine making in the sand soil of Camargue can be traced back to the crusades, however its notoriety started after the plague that destroyed most vineyards in Europe. During the Phylloxera invasion the Vignoble des Sables was spared thanks to the sandy soil which stopped the parasite from developing. 1883 was the birth of LISTEL. Domaine Royal de Jarras keeps a natural park of 1000 acres with the largest population of Pink Flamingo & wild horses in Europe.

Vinification details: This unique wine is made from vines planted in the Camargue sands, where the plants were able to resist the attacks of destructive Phylloxera that wreaked havoc around the world. These vines produce a wine that we hope to share: a rosé wine that can only be made from Grenache grapes grown in sand. It is a wine enriched by its past, a wine made according to current techniques, a wine designed to live on indefinitely.
