This beautiful cushion features authentic William Morris design from the late Victorian era, combining four classic flowers in rich navy and soft pink shades for elegant home decoration.
Designed by William Morris in 1876, his daughter May Morris described Honeysuckle as the most truly Morrisian in character of all his pattern making in later life.
Printed onto a beautiful, textured cotton base, this pattern combines four of Morris' favourite flowers for pattern making: crown imperial, tulip, honeysuckle and fritillary, overlaid on a dense background of yew.
Coloured in rich navy and soft pink shades, this reversible cushion features the charming Clover pattern on the reverse, designed by Morris' protegee, John Henry Dearle and coloured in a co-ordinating palette of madder pink and navy shades.
