Santa Margherita was founded in 1935 by Count Gaetano Marzotto. In 1961, enologists extended white wine vinification techniques to Pinot Grigio grapes, avoiding contact between skins and must to maintain fruit and fragrances.
Grape variety: Pinot Grigio. Current vintage: 2015. Regional information: Agriculture in the Adige Valley offers wide valleys and gravelly soil rich in minerals.

Vinification details: Following a soft pressing, the must ferments for 10 days at 18 °C off the skins. The wine stays on its lees at 15-16 °C in stainless steel tanks for at least 3 months before bottling.
