For our recipe you will need: 1 sachet Schwartz Chicken Casserole Recipe Mix, 1 tbs oil, 1 large onion sliced, 2 carrots peeled and sliced, 4 skinless chicken breasts, 300ml water.
Directions: 1. Pre-heat oven to 180ºC, 350ºF, Gas Mark 4. 2. Heat oil, soften onion and carrots. Add chicken and brown for 2-3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a casserole dish. 3. Mix sachet contents with water and add to casserole dish. Cover and cook for 1 hour. 4. Serve with creamy mashed potatoes.
Hints & Tips: Try replacing the onions with sliced leeks. Alternatively replace the onion and carrots with sliced red peppers and a couple of quartered tomatoes.
