On The Hob: Mix 40g of oats with 195ml of milk (or cold water) in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Microwave - From Ambient. In The Microwave: If you're pushed for time, then you can prepare Scott's in the Microwave. Mix 40g of oats with 195ml of milk (or cold water) and stir. Microwave your oats, uncovered, on High (minimum 800w, category E) for 2 1/2 minutes. Remove with care and enjoy!
Tasty Tips- Add salt for a traditional bowl or sugar for something sweeter. You might even want to add a swirl of honey, a handful of fresh fruit, or a sprinkle of nuts to make it your own.
Store in a Cool, Dry Place. Once opened, porage is best eaten within two months. Or it lasts longer if you store it in an airtight container.
