Preparation and Usage

Covers one cake up to 18cm round
Step one
Work the marzipan with your hands until pliable. Lightly dust the work surface and rolling pin with icing sugar.
Step two
Roll out to the thickness of a pound coin.
Step three
Spread a thin layer of buttercream or boiled and cooled apricot jam onto the cake.
Step four
Cover with marzipan and trim away any excess with a sharp knife.
Step five
For best results leave for 24 hours before covering.
