Preparation and Usage: Just add serves 2 - 3 chicken thigh fillets, 1 onion, 300g passata, 50ml double cream. To serve 4, add more fresh ingredients.
Chicken makhani curry Get prepped - Preheat the oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. Finely chop the onion. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. 1. Cook the chicken - Mix the chicken with 1 tsp oil and the 1 tikka spice blend in a bowl, then arrange on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 15 mins, or until cooked through. 2. Make the curry base - Heat a little oil in a pan over a medium-high heat, then fry the onion for 5-7 mins, or until golden. Stir in the 2 makhani curry paste. Mix in the passata, then simmer over a low heat. 3. Finish the sauce - Stir the roasted chicken into the curry along with the 3 coriander Leaves. Turn the heat down to low and add the cream and cook for 2 more mins. Check food is piping hot and cooked thoroughly. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Serve!
