Korean Fried Rice: 1. Cook the rice: Bring a pan of water to the boil, then add the rice and cook for 6-8 mins (until it's about 3/4 of the way done), then drain and keep aside. 2. Start the stir-fry: Heat some oil in a frying pan and then fry the chicken over a high heat for 2-3 mins. Add the pak choi in and fry for 1 min. Turn the heat down and add the 1 Garlic Paste with a splash of water. Stir fry for 1 min then remove everything from the pan and keep aside. 3. Add the Korean flavours: Add a little more oil to the pan and fry the cooked rice over a medium heat for 2 mins, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, mix the 2 Gochujang Sauce and the 3 Doenjang Paste together in a small bowl with a splash of water. Then pour the mixture into the rice and stir fry until it's well mixed through. Tip all the chicken and veg into the rice along with most of the spring onions and mix well. If you're having fried eggs on top, add a little oil to the pan and fry the eggs. Serve: Serve the rice into bowls and top with more spring onions and a fried egg (if having).
