Metal handles heat up when cooking, so use an oven glove, mitt, or pot holder when handling hot pans. To ensure functionality on induction hobs, make sure the pan base is no smaller than the hob ring, use pans with a flat base, avoid lifting the pan continuously, and allow more time for coated and aluminium pans with steel bases to heat.
