Recipes: All you need: 1 Cup/200g rice, washed, soaked for 15 minutes and drained 6 Cups/1.2litre water 3 Tbsp. ghee/oil ½ Cup/100g plain yoghurt 1 Medium/80g onion, chopped 1/4 Cup/20g fresh mint leaves, chopped 75g Cauliflower, cut into florets Suhana vegetable biryani mix (50g) 1/4 Cup/20g fresh coriander, chopped 1/2 Cup/75g green peas 1 Large/ 75g carrot, cut lengthwise 1 Medium/75g potato, cut lengthwise For garnishing: 1/2 Cup/50g crisp fried onions Cooking time: 25 minutes Serves: 4 Dish Category: Main course How to prepare 1 Cook rice for 4-5 minutes (till the rice is half done) in 1 litre boiling water with 1tbsp oil and drain water completely. 2 Make a paste of Suhana Vegetable Biryani Mix and yoghurt. 3 Heat remaining oil in a large pan, add onion and sauté till golden brown. 4 Add the paste, vegetables, water and cook for 20-25 minutes. 5 In a heavy bottomed casserole or pan, mix the cooked rice, vegetable, mint and coriander well. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes or till the rice is fully cooked. Garnish with fried onion and serve piping hot with raita. You can also use vegetables like soyabean, french beans, sweet corn, broccoli etc.
