History
Tread Softly is a certified sustainable and naturally lighter in alcohol wine brand, committed to reducing its carbon footprint by planting an Australian native tree for every case sold. Since 2019 we have planted over 2.5 million trees. This range of wines are delightfully fresh and flavoursome, whilst being naturally lighter in alcohol. Raise a forest with your glass, from Australia's #1 sustainable wine brand.
Regional information
Sourced from established vineyards of the rich soils of South Australia. The vines are mostly dry-grown and utilise expert canopy management to help to control ripening and vigour. Tread Softly is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and chooses sustainable vineyard management and winemaking techniques to ensure its production has a minimal impact on the environment.
Vinification
Harvested in the cool of the morning to avoid the warmer temperatures of the day. The fruit is quickly delivered to the winery for destemming and crushing prior to a regular fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aerated and temperature controlled for an even ferment and then spends 3 months in tank on solids prior to bottling and an early release to deliver great tasting, full flavoured, naturally lighter in alcohol wines.
