To make its Prélude Grands Crus Cuvée, Taittinger uses an equal split of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourcing its grapes from the top Grand Crus vineyards. By using only first-press wines and ageing for over five years in cellars, this Champagne combines a youthful feel with great depth of flavour - think a clean, lively texture that develops into a round, silky texture that lingers on the tongue.
Founded by Pierre Taittinger and still family-run by his grandchildren Vitalie and Clovis, Taittinger is celebrated for its elegant, Chardonnay-led Champagnes. Renowned for finesse and freshness, the House ages its cuvées in 4th-century Roman cellars - a testament to heritage and craftsmanship that has defined Taittinger for nearly a century.
