It is now celebrated in its own right as Genmaicha tea, or Popcorn tea. Sugar Puffs in a cup - a truly unique blend with an almost nutty undertone.

Cooking guidelines: How we like it: Hot. One tea temple per person, infused in boiling water for at least 3 minutes. Don't rush - just relax and watch the leaves unfurl. Try this pure and unadorned, unless you have a really sweet tooth. Iced. Just cover one tea temple with boiling water and infuse for 3 minutes. Remove temple and top-up glass with iced water.
