Experience a bold, satisfying cup with Twinings Assam loose leaf tea. This proper Indian black tea delivers strong malty notes and comes directly from the Brahmaputra River region in Assam. Enjoy it with milk for a traditional UK afternoon experience.
A bold, satisfying, proper cup of tea with a full-bodied, lasting flavour.
There are only two places in the world where tea plants are native. The state of Assam in India is one of them. We've been sourcing tea from gardens on the flood plains of the Brahmaputra River since 1838. You learn a thing or two in almost 200 years, like which leaves give the best flavour. That's how we know our Assam contains only the best.
Our Assam leaves aren't picked until June because that's when they start making the best-tasting tea. Off-peak is just not the same.

Use one teaspoon of tea per cup and brew for two to three minutes if you like it strong. Longer if you're feeling brave. We like to add a splash of milk.
We Suggest: Use one heaped teaspoon per person and pour on boiling water. Leave the tea to brew for three to five minutes, or until you think it's ready. Then add a splash of milk.
