The Edmond de Rothschild 'Les Pins' is an AOP Haut Medoc red wine from Bordeaux, crafted with a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It features a refined structure with silky tannins and vibrant fruit aromas, making it ideal for pairing with red meats or enjoying on special occasions.
Acquired by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in 1973, the estate is located on clay-limestone soils, particularly suited to growing Merlot (majority of the blend). The wine is then aged for 12 months in vats and French oak barrels. It reveals a beautiful structure and roundness, and is inspired from the majestic pine trees and well-tended gardens surrounding the estate.
