Preparation and Usage: How do razor blades stay sharp longer? These tips have proven themselves! Tip 1: Rinse your razor blades under running water after every shave to remove shaving foam residues and co. This prevents deposits and clogging and keeps the blades sharp longer. Tip 2: Shake your razor thoroughly after rinsing to remove excess moisture. Be careful when doing this, though. Knocking out on the edge of the sink is a taboo! The shocks can otherwise damage the structure of the blades. Consequence: you might no longer shave as thoroughly. Tip 3: Do not use a towel to dry your razor. This can dull the blades. Rather, place it in a cup.
